Nucor is focused on delivery to the customer. Therefore, an accurate and timely delivery confirmation must be entered for every load.
All delivery confirmations should be entered in CarrierPoint within one hour of unloading.
- The date/time entered should be the date/time the unloading was completed.
- If there are multiple delivery stops, delivery confirmations must be entered for all delivery stops.
Delivery confirmation information can be set electronically (EDI), via the CarrierPoint mobile app, or manually within CarrierPoint.
This page shows how CarrierPoint's mobile app makes it quick and easy for a carrier or driver to mark a load delivered.
To enter a delivery confirmation using the mobile app:
Search for the DSM number or Nucor Load number provided by your carrier company on the app's main search screen. Or, if you are using the mobile app to provide tracking information, simply click on the Map Pin icon to open your current load.
To mark the load delivered:

NOTES:
- If the load you are entering a delivery confirmation for belongs to a division that requires a picture of the signed POD be uploaded, step #3 above should be changed to to: Choose "Yes" and use your camera to take the required picture.
- Depending on the carrier company's settings, the driver may not see the reminder window for taking a picture of the POD.
- Carriers are responsible for validating the charges applied for each load prior to delivery confirmation.
